A Historic Move for a Community-Driven Future
ConnectAbility is proud to be a part of a project that will expand our mission to create communities where people of all abilities are valued, included, and empowered.
New Location
In May 2025, the Hillcrest House will be physically moved just down the hill, to its new home 312 North Grove Street, next to App Studios.
Ownership of the house has been officially transferred to JD Family Enterprises, LLC., which is in partnership with ConnectAbility.
Renovation Begins Immediately
The full-scale restoration will be led by Scranton Construction.
Preservation Meets Progress:
- Honoring Dahlonega’s architectural and community legacy while maintaining original historic elements whenever possible
- Ensuring full accessibility across all three levels of the building, with the main floor housing ConnectAbility’s headquarters, and flexible space on the upper levels.
