Check out this heartwarming story of Nate & Natalie, two teenagers with autism who have a blossoming relationship. As you watch, prepare to have your stereotypes blown out of the water.

Notice that Nate says one of the things he likes about Natalie is how she asks lots of questions. Later, when she asks, “What about the lollipop?” Nate doesn’t miss a beat. For those of us who are focused on intervention, we would criticize Natalie’s question as inappropriate. But it’s that very thing that Nate finds endearing!
